The THREE curtains

 

2 Corinthians 3:14-15

King James Version

14 But their minds were blinded: 

for until this day remaineth the same vail 

untaken away in the reading of the old testament; 

which vail is done away in Christ.

15 But even unto this day, 

when Moses is read, 

the vail is upon their heart.

This was in my heart since yesterday.

Finally, SPIRIT and I can write about it.

Wherein the world presents TWO curtains.

And yet, the THIRD curtain is all that matters.

Let's have a look.

One -- the "BAMBOO" curtain:

"The bamboo curtain is a Cold War political demarcation between the communist states of East Asia, particularly the People's Republic of China, and the capitalist states of East, South, and Southeast Asia. To the north and northwest lay the communist states of China, the Soviet Union, North Vietnam, North Korea, and the Mongolian People's Republic. To the south and east lay the capitalist and non-communist countries of India, Pakistan, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Macau."

Two -- the "IRON" curtain:

"During the Cold War, the Iron Curtain is a political metaphor used to describe the political boundary dividing Europe into two separate areas from the end of World War II in 1945 until the end of the Cold War in 1991. The term symbolizes the efforts by the Soviet Union (USSR) to block itself and its Satellite States from open contact with the West, its allies and neutral states. On the east side of the Iron Curtain were the countries that were connected to or influenced by the Soviet Union, while on the west side were the countries that were NATO members, or connected to or influenced by the United States; or nominally neutral.

The nations to the east of the Iron Curtain were Poland, East Germany, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania[b], and the USSR; however, East Germany, Czechoslovakia, and the USSR have since ceased to exist. Countries that made up the USSR were Russia, Belarus, Latvia, Ukraine, Estonia, Moldova, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Lithuania, Turkmenistan, and Kazakhstan.

Three -- the "TEMPLE" curtain

Matthew 27:50-54

King James Version

50 Jesus, 

when he had cried again with a loud voice, 

yielded up the ghost.

51 And, behold, 

the veil of the temple was rent in twain 

from the top to the bottom; 

and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

52 And the graves were opened; 

and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, 

and went into the holy city, 

and appeared unto many.

54 Now when the centurion, 

and they that were with him, watching Jesus, 

saw the earthquake, 

and those things that were done, 

they feared greatly, saying, 

Truly this was the Son of God.

Now, I ask you, which one will last?

Which one will persevere?

Which one must we all focus on?

The world's "curtains", or GOD's temple "veil"?

When JESUS was crucified, and gave up His ghost, that veil was "rent".

What other power is there, but GOD's?

In the future, all other "curtains" and "veils" will be rent.

It has been prophesied:

Zechariah 12:9

King James Version

9 And it shall come to pass in that day, 

that I will seek to destroy all the nations 

that come against Jerusalem.

What more does GOD have to do, that we may believe?

For now, man's vision is veiled.

Romans 11:25

King James Version

25 For I would not, brethren, 

that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, 

lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; 

that blindness in part is happened to Israel, 

until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

1 Corinthians 13:12

King James Version

12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; 

but then face to face: now I know in part; 

but then shall I know even as also I am known.

Because of his unbelief.

2 Corinthians 4:4

King James Version

4 In whom the god of this world 

hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, 

lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, 

who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

But the veil of blindness can be lifted, through CHRIST.

2 Corinthians 3:16

King James Version

16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, 

the vail shall be taken away.

The coming JUDGMENT

Psalm 9:7

King James Version

7 But the Lord shall endure for ever: 

he hath prepared his throne for judgment.

This post is not to create fear.

Rather, to encourage awareness.

And to have love and respect for GOD.

For JUDGMENT will surely come.

As sure as the Bible is GOD-inspired, so shall it be.

Who has power over all nations?

Who judges all people?

How shall we be judged?

What will we be judged for?

Scripture has the answers.

First, what does JESUS say?

Matthew 12:35-37

King James Version

35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart 

bringeth forth good things: 

and an evil man out of the evil treasure 

bringeth forth evil things.

36 But I say unto you, 

That every idle word that men shall speak, 

they shall give account thereof 

in the day of judgment.

37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, 

and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

John 3:16-17

King James Version

16 For God so loved the world, 

that he gave his only begotten Son, 

that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, 

but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world 

to condemn the world; 

but that the world through him 

might be saved.

John 3:18-19

King James Version

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: 

but he that believeth not is condemned already, 

because he hath not believed in the name 

of the only begotten Son of God.

19 And this is the condemnation, 

that light is come into the world, 

and men loved darkness rather than light, 

because their deeds were evil.

John 8:24

that ye shall die in your sins: 

for if ye believe not that I am he,

Second, what does the rest of Scripture say?

Psalm 9:8

in the work of his own hands.

17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, 

and all the nations that forget God.

Isaiah 45:22-23

22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, 

all the ends of the earth: 

for I am God, 

and there is none else.

and shall not return,

Revelation 22:10-11

Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: 

for the time is at hand.

11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: 

and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: 

and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: 

and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

Those MAGNETIZED to JESUS

Psalm 33:12

King James Version

12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; 

and the people whom he hath chosen 

for his own inheritance.

Why do we follow JESUS?

Why are we drawn to Him?

Why do we believe in Him?

Why do we love Him?

Scripture tells it plainly.

GOD chose us for JESUS.

Our future is with the LORD.

As JESUS reveals:

John 6:37-38

37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

John 6:39-40

King James Version

39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 10:29-30

29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

30 I and my Father are one.

John 17:1-2

17 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:

2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

In SUMMARY, all those given by GOD to JESUS enjoy these blessings:

All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day

My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.

I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost
